Getting into the mind of a mobber, ENVY, OTR On The Run Crew, SKA Still Kicking Ass. Keeping alive the true essence of Graffiti in Los Angeles, Califas! It is always an honor to be able to bring to light women in this Art Movement, especially the ones that live a low key profile, the Women not caring about the hype, the fame or even asking for attention. “Look at me I’m writing!” Whatever Torta! La EnvyDiosa could care less about any of this, and as the years have gone by; we have become family; carnalas, I respect your Stylo! This is dedicated to my girl La Envy OTR SKA. You are One True Ruca.

So sit back and visualize going back to a time in Graffiti, where you never cared about showing your face to the public and never admitting who you were. A time where you didn’t care about fame and money; just did it for the love of getting up, having good times and bad times with your crew families but most importantly representing them with mad love and loyalty.

 The influence of women in the Graffiti Art Movement since the early 1980’s has had its strong presence here in the West Coast and it has been an honor to have met so many of these women. Such names as we know them, made a name for themselves by earning street credibility of “getting up” and living up to the street code of loyalty and love for the game of Graffiti. It is great to see that younger generations are still living up to those standards and earning their own place in this Graffiti Art Movement that is being reshaped and rewritten by its vast transformation in this decade. And although it is difficult to still live up to those standards of keeping Graffiti genuine to its sole purpose of the Writings on the Walls; at such a young age Envy has proved herself to be just as true to the Graff world as many heavy hitter mobbers. Which shows to everybody that gender roles are meaningless if you got heart for what you do.

Envy has been doing Graffiti since the mid 1990’s. From tags to billboards and anywhere the city tumbles her upon, La EnvyDiosa will not let you down.
