Moby Arts Fine Arts Gallery Grand Opening!

Moby Arts, the first fine art gallery at the Arts District Co-op located at 453 Colyton St. Los Angeles, California, opened to the public on Tuesday, January 3rd.

The opening exhibit will highlight the works of three contemporary artists including Black Brainwhose bold colored canvases depict social images of political figures, heroes with their current day mythological equivalent, mixing legendary civil rights leaders of the present and past with iconic comic book heroes; Documentary Danny Greene who finds hidden beauty in otherworldly landscapes; portrait and landscape. His works are often classified as part of the new impressionist street movement because of the desire for the local in the unfolding globalized world, painter Danny Green who work has been sought after by Dave Navarro Jane’s Addiction, Red Hot Chili Peppers Matt Hyde Porno for Pyros Nate Emond Grammy-award Winning Music Producer; andJoshua Ian whose photography is inspired by images of the band Kotolan found in the US, the heat of Los Angeles.

BlackBrain, Danny Greene and Joshua Ian will be available to discuss their work by appointments only.

“I know amazing artists and, over the years, many of them have asked me to help them promote their work.
It has always been my dream to open an art gallery, and when we found this great space, I knew the time was right,” says Natily, owner of the gallery. “Our goal is to place our artists’ work in a wide range of public and private collections.”

The Moby Arts Pop-Up Gallery is the newest addition to the trendy Fourth Street neighborhood of Downtown Los Angeles Arts District, and the first fine art at the Arts District Co-op.  The stylishly minimalist gallery exhibits emerging, mid-career and established artists creating contemporary works on paper, paintings, fine art photography, encaustic and assemblage.
